About the Founder
“Creating has always been a way of life for me. Growing up in a family of artists, I was immersed in an environment where expression through art was second nature. Over time, I found myself naturally drawn to the elegant lines of the human figure and the flowing movement of fabrics, using color and negative space to accentuate their form and presence. While these elements remain at the core of my work, I also enjoy the spontaneity of small sketches between larger projects—moments of exploration that keep my creativity fluid.
Art, for me, is more than just aesthetics; it is a tool for connection, reflection, and change. Over the years, my practice has evolved beyond personal expression into a means of advocacy, using my work to bring awareness to social issues and support organizations making a tangible impact. Though my passion for the human figure remains, my focus has shifted toward creating pieces that are both visually compelling and conversation-starting—works that invite viewers to engage with deeper narratives while appreciating their beauty.
With an education in psychology, I have dedicated my work to exploring the intersection of art and mental health. My experience working with trauma survivors, the veteran community, and individuals seeking creative empowerment has led me to develop workshops and class series that harness the healing power of artistic expression. By merging my passion for creating with my passion for service, I strive to cultivate spaces that are inclusive, supportive, and mindful—environments where creativity fosters personal growth, resilience, and self-discovery.
Through both my artwork and my teaching, I aim to bridge the space between visual storytelling and meaningful dialogue, using creativity as a catalyst for awareness, healing, and action.” - Nona Angelini
